The Implementation Stage is where the system is installed onsite. Depending upon the size and complexity of the system, the Implementation may occur in phases. The goal is to install the software at the client’s premises and train the clients’ staff on its use.
This involves installing FileMaker Pro and FileMaker Server onto the required computers, along with the completed system.
Once installed, System Testing can begin, and any problems resolved.
Carbon Data Solutions prefers a gradual implementation as experience has shown this is more successful. This means a subset of key users are given access to the new system. This will often run in parallel to any existing systems while these users become familiar with the new software.
During this phase, the Training Plan will commence. Eventually all users will receive training on the aspects of the new system that are relevant to them.
