Distributing electronic information without the internet.
- Distributing information electronically has become the domain of the internet.
- Sometimes, however the internet is not suitable. When sales people are on the road for example, or when the information contains hi-resolution graphics or video presentations, a better way to distribute the information is on CD.
- A CD is significantly cheaper to duplicate and distribute in comparison to printed product books and can contain significantly more items.
- Carbon Data’s Product CD is written in FileMaker and made into a self running program. This means the end user does not need any software to make it work. The solution can be prepared to run on both Windows and Mac OS.
- The database has an easy to use graphical interface and allows the user to search by product name, type, or indeed any keyword or product code / number. The products satisfying the search are presented as a list or in a graphical format similar to a photo lightbox.
- The system can be made to look and feel in a way to suit your business and clients.
Example 1: ANT Photo Library.
The brief was to distribute thousands of images of Australian fauna.
Example 2: Arid Zone Promotional Products Agency.
Arid Zone had a product database of over 6000 products including clothes, pens, hats, sporting goods, bags etc. The CD was handed out at a trade show.
